3D  - PART MODELING

AUTOCAD & SOLID WORKS

Prototype and Design of 2 new Control Panel lines. To assure "form and fit", the designed were created in 3D Modeling. All parts and components were drawn and assembled to scale as a "3D model" to assure accuracy of the designs.
I HAVE BEEN USING "3D" SINCE THE MID-1990'S.

3D  MODELS

WRIGLEY

3D Models make for assurance of form and fit of installation of equipment.
Saving costs on physical labor, Stability in design and assembly of components beforehand, to ensure the best configuration for installation of equipment.

ILLUSTRATION

VARIOUS COMPANIES

Often 3D Drawings are needed of a less than Technical nature: Logos, Pictures, Assembly Instructions, signage, or presentations.
Illustrations can bring clarity, as well as provide visualization to help communicate a task or define an activity.

RENDERING

VARIOUS COMPANIES

Rendering allows me to take a drawing to another level to show real life "visual expectations". Visualization of Materials and Lighting can "clarify undersatnding". Examination under various lighting circumstances can be useful.
Photorealistic is the best. Although quality of my sample renderings are limited by resources such as Computer Processor and RAM. The higher the memory size available for use, the better the resolution.
Renderings in my samples were done in Autocad. I can render objects and scenes in "Microstation" and "Solid Works" as well.

TECHNICAL ANIMATION

Visualization is easier than Imagination

Animation can make a task or function more "understandable". "Walk thrus" can give a idea of "space and travel". Animations can show a process remotely to another with clarity. Animations can check clearances and collisions, "during expected operation". I am most familiar using Animation for simple presentations. Making meetings and discussions "more informative" and "ideas" more "eye catching."
