VENUES
I DID ASSIST IN DESIGNS FOR REPLACEMENTS AND INSTALLATIONS FOR THE CLAYTON WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILTY. THAT WAS MY BIGGEST EXPOSURE. I WORKED ON OTHER VARIOUS WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILTIES AS WELL IN VARIOUS COUNTIES. BUT CLAYTON IN ATLANTA MIGHT BE MOST EASILY RECOGNIZED. I WORKED IN HOUSE, BUT ALSO LOANED OUT TO METCALF-EDDY CONSULTING FOR SUPPORT OF THEIR CONSULTING EFFORTS. I ALSO HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH S.L. KING, BOTH ARE WELL KNOWN CONSULTANTS IN DOWNTOWN ATLANTA.
ACTUAL DESIGN PERFORMANCE:
I DID A LOT OF THE DRAFTING AND DESIGN OF THE FACILITY SINGLE LINES. I VOLUNTEERED AND DID WALK THROUGHS OF THE VARIOUS BUILDING UNDERGROUND OF THE TREATMENT FACILTY BY MYSELF, WHERE NO ONE USUALLY WANTS TO GO, TO IDENTIFY PANELS, CREATE PANEL SCHEDULES AND FIND MISSING ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT . MCC AND SWITCHBOARDS. IT WAS PRETTY MUCH AKIN TO THE "NIGHT STALKER",(LOL) IN CASES UNDERGROUND WITH A FLASH LIGHT WITH NO SOUNDS BUT THE HUM OF EQUIPMENT- ADMIITELY IT WAS SPOOKY AT TIMES. BUT ACCOMPLISHED. I IDENTIFIED PANEL FACES AND MCC BUCKETS AND LAYOUTS, CREATED SINGLE LINES, AND ELECTRICAL DRAWINGS. TO INCLUDE POWER DISTIBUTION AND LIGHTING OF LABORATORIES AND OFFICES. I WAS ABLE TO HANDLE THE "ODIFEROUS ENVIRONMENT" DUE TO THE FACT I GREW UP ON A FARM AND COULD TOLERATE THE SMELLS OF WASTE RECYCLING. IT SEEMS OTHERS OTHER AVOIDED THESE TASKS.
