I received a set of specifications for equipment to be installed and designed the pump station.
Each pump station being unique to a degree.
On your right is an example of the documentation for a typical pump station. Including installation notes, details and warnings.
Typicaly starting with a physical plan layout of the station at the site of installation. Showing the physical assembly of the pump station along with any equipment and controls to be installed.
This page shows the schematics for electrical controls and water level detection.
It also shows the utility racks with other equipment and lighting for the site. Placement of any communication equipment for SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Aquisoition.) as well. Also required Breaker panels and auxiliary equipment.
A riser drawing shows the electrical assembly of all components , calculatations were then performed to determine equipment sizes, conductor and conduit sizing and any peripheral devices needed for monitoring scada and /or telemetry.
Here is a example of Site plan details for another pump station. Pumps were usually "Flygt". I typically Consulted on details by Contact with the vendor and the pump manufacturer, when appropriate, to assure correct sizing, proper pump application and equipment electrical requirements for install.
