SKILLSET: Consulting Electrical Engineer/ Designer
Self-starter: Software literate: Presently self-learning "Autodesk Revit"
The following slides are "samples" of my "familiarity" with the software in the past month.
This is a bit more "proprietary in design" so it may take a few months to become "absolutely" proficient.
Progress would be faster, but the "subscription model" limits my access to development.
There are several slides designed to show my awareness in the various aspects of "proper and complete design and documentation".
I have no design project presently, so I am simply modeling my "current facility". I am "not a drafter" by degree. I can perform the design and calculations.
I stay fairly busy learning. HTML development takes time, and I am only doing this in my "spare time".
My next step will be learning ETAP CAE and then preparation for the "EIT exam" to provide assurance of my skillset.
I have never approached this test before, because- without commensurate employment and support for further registration, there was no "utilization" for the registration.

THIS IS THE EQUIVALENT OF REVIT WITH ME USING VANILLA AUTOCAD, NEXT I WILL BE WORKING ON:
LIGHTING FIXTURE SCHEDULES,
CONDUCTOR AND CONDUIT SCHEDULES,
MATERIAL TAKEOFFS
AND TO CREATE "FULL DOCUMENTATION SETS AND ANNOTATION".
I WILL UPLOAD A PDF FOR YOUR REVIEW OF QUALITY, ACCURACY AND ABILTY ON MY OWN TIME.
MAYBE YOU ARE A SMALLER OR SMARTER FIRM THAT DOES NOT WISH TO COMMIT TO REVIT.
BECAUSE:
ONCE USING REVIT, YOU CAN'T EASILY TURN BACK IF THINGS CHANGE.
REVIT FILES ARE NOT BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE,- SO YOU MUST "ALWAYS" MAINATAIN A SEAT OF REVIT.
WHICH MEANS SIGNIFICANT COST AS AUTODESK "RAISES ITS COST PERIODICALLY".
AND SINCE REVIT IS SUBSCRIPTION BASED IF AUTODESK CHANGES OR A BETTER PRODUCT COMES ALONG
YOU HAVE TO START OVER AND MAY LOSE ACCESS TO PREVIOUS FILES CREATED.
SO I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN AS USEFUL IN JUST PLAIN AUTOCAD.
AND MICROSTAION ALMOST AS WELL, SO I CAN USALLY MATCH ANY CUSTOMERS NEEDS.
SOLID WORKS MASTERY ON THE WAY- BUT I PREFER IT FOR DESIGN OF PARTS
BECAUSE IT IS MORE INVOLVED, TAKES GREATER EFFORT AND MORE TIME CONSUMING.
IN MANUFACTURING I CAN MATCH SOLIDWORKS IN AUTOCAD AS WELL.
NO ONE IS TRAINING ME- I AM LEARNING THE BEST I CAN
BECAUSE NOW WITH EVERYTHING SUBSCRIPTION BASED IT WILL BE HARDER TO FIND COMPETENT DESIGNERS AND ENGINEERS WHO CAN EASILY AND SKILLFULLY CREATE ACCEPTIBLE DOCUMENTATION TO ACCOMPANY DESIGN.
